Get ready for a thrilling and hilarious ride as the residents of Woodstone B&B gear up to save Jay from his soul-selling predicament!
In an exclusive interview with DECIDER, actress Sheila Carrasco, who plays the groovy 1960s hippie Flower, teases that the upcoming Season 5 premiere of Ghosts will be a laugh riot. The show picks up right where Season 4 left off, with Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) accidentally signing away his soul to a demon, leaving the entire house of ghosts in a panic.
"We're all very worried about Jay, and we come together as a team to try and save him," Carrasco hints. "And in true Ghosts fashion, we find humor in the most unexpected places. It's a comedy goldmine!"
A sneak peek from the first episode, posted on the show's Instagram, gives us a glimpse of the ghosts' frantic efforts to save Jay, only to veer off into their signature shenanigans. Even the use of "Defcon 5" by Sam (Rose McIver) is corrected by Pete (Richie Moriarty), who reminds everyone that "Defcon 1" is the real cause for alarm. Check out the sneak peek below and get ready for some spooky fun!
Carrasco believes that Jay's constant fear adds a unique dynamic to the show, especially with characters like Elias (Matt Walsh), Hetty's (Rebecca Wisocky) ex-husband, and Patience (Mary Holland). Audience members have been eagerly awaiting their showdown, and Carrasco promises it won't disappoint. "My favorite episodes are when the entire cast comes together, and we definitely see that in Season 5. It gets scary, but in a fun way!"
While Carrasco couldn't reveal much about the premiere, she did share some exciting news about her character, Flower. After four seasons of playing the spacey hippie, fans will get to see a smarter and more sophisticated side of Flower in Season 5. "I'm thrilled for fans to witness Flower's intellectual side. It was a blast to explore last season, and I think it'll be a real treat for viewers."
